Lazy night tonight. Turkey Tacos is was. I used the fpc for those mild taco kits so a really cheap meal :)
Last night was spaghetti with tricked-out Hunt's sauce (I added sauteed mushrooms, onions, carrots, celery), with a huge and very yummy Caesar salad (No Name Caesar dressing is awesome and extremely high on the garlic scale! Usually my fave is Renee's Mighty Caesar, but this other one was good!)
Here are the pictures of the turkey dinner I made on Thursday for Thanksgiving here.
This one is my turkey, ready to go into the oven (it just barely fit, I keep forgetting ovens in rv's are much smaller)

I made the turkey and rice soup so that was last nights dinner with the grilled sammies. Tonights dinner is going to be porkchops with a fresh mushroom gravy, a baked potato and fresh butternut squash and carrots roasted and drizzled with a balsamic reduction.
I love balsamic vinegar, you can do so much with it and it lends itself really well to other herbs and spices once you reduce it.
Holly,
That turkey looks soooo good! It just shows you that it's the cook and not the kitchen that makes the great meal.
The turkey looks amazing & mouthwatering Holly.Marstec your chicken meal also looks so good, the photos make me hungry.I also trick out sauces Natalka,& they taste better & like homemade, lot cheaper too than making tomato sauce from scratch:)
Get better soon Gracesmommy:icon_flower:Mine is very boring to everyone else tonight, just cheese omelet with leftover veggies.Gotta use em up.Lol.
i'm making meatloaf
and braised chicken thighs with mushrooms
and left-over free pasta from work
for lunch I am having leftover butter lemon pasta (sidekicks) with samosas...Then I need to go grocery shopping so I can make fajitas for supper later tonight. I have a job interview at 5 so need to get my butt in gear and go get groceries very soon!
^^^ good luck with your interview :)
It wasn't for dinner but I might just have to make it for supper one day.....
http://www.amyskitchencreations.blog...andwiches.html
minus the spinach but added hot sauce(while baking) and cheese when done :P
Plus I have breakie for DH for the next 10 days!!!!
I think next time I will add bacon :P:P:P
Harbie, I've done those with bacon - I just cook the bacon slices about 2/3 of the way (I do mine in the oven), and one slice fits around the inside of the muffin well. I put some chili sauce on the bottom, then crack the egg on, add salt and pepper - and put 1 tsp. melted margarine over top of each yolk, which helps it to cook well.
Holly - your turkey dinner looks SO Yummers!
Tonight's supper is leftover pasta, and the bit of leftover sauce - augmented by ground pork - I'll add some bits of veggies, and probably a mushroom sauce since I have a package to use up.
tonight was just a tomatoe and cheese sandwich, and a garnola bar, im home alone and dont wanna cook
we're going to go see the santa claus parade tonight at 6, so tonight we're going to have an early dinner of a taco salad, maybe stop at Tim Hortons on the way there for hot chocolate for dessert :)
Chicken salsa on Spaghetti noodles
roast chicken, taters and veggies.
Oh I think I am just going to have some take out pizza tonight. Probably just a cheese pizza. And a Fresca to go with it!
chili & crusty bread....
(chili is on the hot side of town!)
tuna tortillia wraps.
Roast lamb, baked potatos, Yorkshire pudds and veggies.
Chicken with home made shake and bake, bacon and cheddar side kicks, and green beans.
We went out to a veggie resto today.(Early birthday pressie!)
Everyone came home with leftovers - which means i haven't cooked all day...Yay!!!
Birthday cake (from a Bakery) was actually more of a fruit mousse/cake thing...regardless of me not knowing what it was , it was still pretty good, lol
I know it's a dinner thread, but I made these tiny fritatta's for breakfast yesterday. First time I made them and they were delish. I put in ham, fresh sage and thyme, a jalapeno cheddar and green and red peppers. I made the crust out of hashbrowns and let it get nice and crispy. Dh said he wanted more, guess next time I better make more than two :)

For dinner tonight I'm going to do a hot turkey sandwhich with a stuffed baked potato and a fiesta corn. Hoping to head out to a flea market today and find some more pink depression glass to add to the collection I started.
It is Grey Cup today...like I care...lol!!! Anyways DH cares, so I did the easiest thing I could for his gathering today, I roasted a pork loin and a very lean beef roast. Stupid right wrist is out of commission so he sliced them both up, I bought bags of super soft fresh kaisers/buns along with bagged salad, bottled dressings. A store bought lemon pie is defrosting. Got 3 varieties of the Ms Vickies chips for snacking, and lots of nuts! Oh the toiling is endless!! lol
There will be no alcohol served ( work Monday, we are a responsible group) so I broke the carbonated pop dry spell we have been practicing, with Pepsi ( gah!!) and Gingerale.
Sure hope Toronto Argos win!!
The fiancé asked for my sweet and sour meatballs but I refused to roll the meatballs, so I am going to make sweet and sour meatloaf instead. Served with rice and whatever veg I can find in the freezer (the countdown to payday is on and the pickings are super slim!).
i've got a pork loin dethawing that i picked up last weekend at no frills really cheap. i'm going to try the new club house seasoning lemon and tyme dry rub for it. baked potatoes and broccoli to go with it.
Tonight in Loocie's kitchen I'm featuring a WYCF on the menu,
As in my house tonight, football takes over the venue,
WYCF stands for whatever you can find,
You see although I'm really trying I can't get into the football frame of mind,
There are chicken wings in the freezers & I'm willing to make veggies & dip,
You see it's just that Loocie thinks Grey Cup hoopla isn't quite a pip,
Gordon Lightfoot & Justin Bieber perform at the halftime show,
When I heard the 2 of them were featured, I thought holy smokes & whoa!
We have left over chili, & there is quiche waiting in the freezer,
I'm not sure though if quiche is known to be a football lovers pleaser?
:) :) :) :)
I live literally across the road from this Grey Cup madness..Needless to say I am hibernating today.
Making pasta for supper probably because groceries never got accomplished this weekend...Will do groceries after work tomorrow when I'm already dressed and out.
