The driver apologized and said the other driver didn't show up so it was just him tonight doing all the deliveries on a fri night. Off to get ready for work, my days are fri-tues with every wed and thurs off.

Chicken Alfredo with Orange juice and girl guide cookies! Yahoo!!
janes chicken strips and homemade fries since I got a 5lb bag of potatoes for .99 at freshco today! I find it hard to eat up a bag of potatoes before they go bad but since they were so cheap I guess I will just have to be creative with potato recipes for awhile LOL!
This weekend is my cooking/baking weekend since I have exams in two weeks and won't feel like cooking much. I'm doing a crockpot of chili, kofte balls, chocolate chip cookies, potato egg salad, german potato dressing, and no idea what else I will have time or ingredients for but my plan is to do up everything and freeze it (except for the potato egg salad), so that I have quick suppers for the next few weeks while I'm studying and writing exams.
We also had Janes chicken stripes last night Bella, they are so good:)
Im looking forward to seeing the photos of that delicious food Harbie,it sounds great .

My boyfriend realllllllllly enjoys these!!
I've tried them too and they are really good. I wouldn't miss Janes if I had Gardein :)
I can't vouch for their healthiness, but they're meatless!
My friend asked me for a recipe of soup, so I sent her my Ham and Potato recipe, and that inspired me, so I made it at 9pm.

I made roast chicken, scalloped potatoes, and veggies for supper. Carrot cake for dessert.
Yesterday I made soup from the pork rib broth - added onions, celery, peas, rice, potatoes, pasta.
Son fills his bowl, starts eating, after YUMming, he said - "We aren't going to have the ribs tomorrow, are we?" - with this look on his face. I knew there was something behind it for, yes, I planned to make the ribs tonight - but I asked him why. Turns out he has plans tonight to go out for pizza for his cousin's birthday, and didn't want me to make ribs on a night he wouldn't be there! LOL, I wouldn't, so said I would make them on Sunday.
So tonight is just me and my husband - since it's payday, maybe we'll get takeout... dunno yet.
Going to the farmers market this morning. Depending on whats fresh, I'm thinking either a nice batch of cream of broccoli soup and some sammies, or maybe a homemade macaroni and cheese (gluten free of coarse) with some roasted rooot veggies. Only the farmers market knows for sure :lolsign:
Can someone cook for me tonight? Cabmonk... you got that super cool kitchen... I am coming over?
Otherwise I think I am going to eat friend rice with bakery buns. Maybe Fresca or Tang to drink. I wish there was hockey on tonight.
No clue - two sickies, in addition to both bing stress-cases... soooo, hopefully we figure out something.

Pizza is being served in the Smart Canuck Cafe,
Did you know that you can have pizza at any time of day?
Some people like it gooey & some people like it cheesy,
You can customize your pizza, it is really that easy,
Some people like pizza on the meaty side,
& some like tomatoes that are sun dried,
Some like peppers & some people like ham,
& I guess there are even some who like it with spam,
Some people like onions & a crispy crust,
& throw on extra garlic if you feel you must,
Pineapple, mushrooms, anchovies, salami,
It's your very own pizza, so add some pastrami,
I never thought pizza could be comfort food,
But I must say that I'm in a pizza kind of mood!
I'm super sick, so.....Campbell's chicken noodle soup and bread with butter toasted on the stove.
I love making toast that way!
nothing exciting here.. way to friggin tired.. see pics tomorrow on the advent thread..
rice, tomatoes and lentils.. woohoo exciting.
Grilled boneless ribeye steaks, green beans, pan fried mushrooms and garlic bread. There was also baked potatoes but I didn't have one.
