Macaroni and ham salad
This evening I cooked some ground chicken, added orange bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, garlic, basil, spices, hot sauce (won't try that again!) , etc added a jar of ragu and some rotini pasta and cooked it all together in a fry pan and topped with parm. cheese. It was excellent!
Nothing too exciting-perogies and veggies and salads-of course anything tastes good with a glass of wine!!

Last night was fried tofu in a homemade coconut tomatoe sauce over rice.
Tonight is sushi!
meatballs with something. havent decided the something yet.
I'm taking DS fishing tonight after work, so it's going to be something I can grab and bring along, maybe subs. We won't be eating the fish because a) I don't like the water they're coming from (part of Halifax Harbour) and b) DS has told me that he will not kill a fish and eat it, if he catches one, he wants to throw it back! :)
toasted bacon and tomato sandwiches.
Last night was apple pancakes (mom wasn't feeling well and took me over 2 hours to find something she didn't think would upset her stomach).
Homemade hamburgers with greek salad for us this evening, very hot here!

I think BBQ organic chicken legs and parm potatoes and salad and beans:)
stuffed chicken breast and homemade poutine is on the menu tonight :)
My grill is fixed and I bought some chicken drumsticks today, so looks like grilled chicken! I have a little herb garden, I'm thinking I'm going to marinate the chicken in some olive oil, maybe rosemary and thyme, a splash of vinegar and then grill.
BTW, for those who read last week that my grill was leaking gas, we found the problem. The side burner (which I never use) was turned on! THAT'S why I was smelling gas and I could not find the leak!
Tonight was Chinese since we cannot find our kitchen. Dug our a bunch of furniture we longer wanted in our basement for my bros friend to take only for him to come look at and say no so now we have to move everything back but until than it lives in the kitchen.
I grilled my chicken, didn't find my herbs made much flavour but they were still good. Also cooked a bunch of mushrooms and a videlia onion in a grilling wok I got at Canadian Tire awhile back on sale for $5, wish I'd gotten two, it's great! We used it camping too, over an open fire, also worked very well. After the veggies were done, took them out and put boiled potatoes in the wok, squashed them a bit, sprayed with olive oil and sprinkled salt and pepper, put cheese in toward the end. Yummy!
bbq'd some boneless skinless chicken breasts, fresh green beans from the garden, made a foil pack of 'little gem' potatoes with evoo, dehydrated onion, s&p, rosemary and thyme and parsley. super yummy. we roasted marshmellows for dessert. :)

Last night we had KFC - yay for having the Colonel's Club card for deals!
Bummer, though, we wanted to try the new waffle fries, but they were 'out' of them til Wednesday - seems so silly.

Fried chicken, spicy baked potatoes and peas.
Ordering Chinese take-out :) I am sure I will regret it later, but oh well.
I came home from long trip eto discover my cat sitter cut up a bunch of fruit for me to eat! Even got me yogurt and granola to sprinkle on!! I LOVE my cat sitter!!
Tonight was spaghetti and meatballs. I had the meatballs cooked and frozen, just had to cook pasta and heat up jarred sauce with the meatballs. It's hell hot here, not turning on the oven. Thanking God for our living room air conditioner that we bought last year, and the one for our bedroom we bought about a week ago. We found the last one in the city I think on the bedroom one, paid more than we wanted to, but I doubt very much anyone would be sleeping in this house tonight if we didn't have them. DS is currently snoozing in our bed, we'll move him to a memory foam pad on the floor with fleece sheets and pillows when we go to bed.
