pizza pockets
homemade chicken soup with white beans and kale.
Big caesar salad, with Co-op deluxe pizzas - gosh, they are so good, but really spicy, so since I already had to take Lactaid, I had a mug of milk - had to take a sip after every pizza bite to stop the fire!
for lunch, im making breaded pork loin and sweet potato chips
will have some for dinner too
Just finished chopping everything for supper - crockpot stew with onions, celery, carrots, garlic, barley, diced pork loin.
Went to open the can of tomatoes, and after one teeny poke into the can, the electric opener would not do a blessed thing - it's whirring, but nothing I do can get it working. And wouldn't you know it? No hand-cranker opener in the house!
So intead I used a package of Clubhouse seasoning for slow cooker beef stew which you mix with water - should be okay, I suppose. That's why I picked it up when there were coupons for it - in case of emergency, lol!
I'm tired today so I might order in from the local restaurant. They have good food, although it's all salty and greasy (mmmm...lol) $15.00 worth of food could feed an army!! I would like to BBQ but it is really too windy for now..so see what happens later. There has been 40km+ winds for 3 days straight now! Enough already! LOL
I had the stuff mixed up for hubby to put into the crockpot late this morning. Skinless chicken thighs, salsa, black beans, taco seasoning. When I get home I'll shred the chicken, mix in refried beans (that I made in my crockpot a couple days ago!), roll into soft tortillas and bake with cheese on top.
Tonight we are having chicken stir-fry. One of my favourites!
I made the lazy cabbage rolls casserole with ground turkey today for DH to take to work for dinner this week. I might boil the rest of the head of cabbage and just have that with some good ol' butter and s&p. maybe throw some hotdogs/turkey burgers on the bbq for the kiddies.
Tomato soup with white beans (previously cooked the beans (but not that much) to make the cooking time shorter. I also added a pinch of coriander (my secret:)), delicious!
And basmati rice with vermicelli.

I just finished cutting up a steak to marinade it in the fridge. I am turning it into kabobs, and having it with...?
I made kabobs last week and we had it with rice.
a chicken brocolli entree for $6...aprox. 4 cups of brocolli plus a cup of stirfried chicken & sauce...I think I'll eat the whole thing ;) (busy day..haven't been home or eaten in about 8 hours.)

Tonight is baked sole fish with lemon, garlic and dill, roasted mini potatoes and a green leaf salad
Italian meat balls, basmati rice (probably) with parmesant carrots.
Hope my meatballs stay put together this time lol !
Tonight's plan is to be simple so we can clean out some closets and toss old/too small clothes for the kids and get back to school clothing organized. So thinking KD and Grill cheese since I just bought the kids a new loaf of bread.
Last nights dinner...
Mandarin veggie "chicken" with egg noodles and freah steamed beans. With sriracha all over.

Great to see others posting their suppers on this thread. Guess what's producing in my garden right now?
Beans!! I've served them for supper almost every day for two weeks. I threw in the bonus dessert pic. :P
I have already had fish (cod) pan fried, deep fried, boiled, cod au gratin, chowder etc so tonight its "stewed fish"!! I am not making it, so I am looking forward to it!! (can you eat too much fish? LOL)

stir fry tonight with zucchini, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and green beans over rice. the kids want some pizza so they can make their own on English muffins.
Fajitas and cappuccino yogurt for dessert,very good I will buy more,my new favorite yogurt lol:)
Leftovers:
chicken, red and green peppers, onions, and fresh garlic all sauteed over linguine pasta dressed with olive oil and a squeeze of fresh lemon.
