I heard that the vegetarian restaurant that used to serve stir fries made with tofu that looks like seafood got closed down because they were dealing drugs to supplement their business. :(
Here's a TRICK if you think the kids might be rude and not say thank you... give them a little and then ask (if they don't say thank you) WHAT ARE THE MAGIC WORDS? ... and then if they DO say thank you then give them some more. A teachable moment! :-)
nope i have a notepad thingy that says
if life gives you lemons, squirt the juice in the eyes of your enemies
not sure for dinner but pumpkin pie for dessert
mmmmmmmmm tonight were having Prime Rib. They had them on sale for a wicked low price of $2.99 a pound at No Frills yesterday, so I grabbed a couple, yummy.

We did two prime rib roasts on Friday for DHs b-day...except here, they're $4.88/lb at No Frills, still a good deal though!

what im making is very easy it will take you about a good 10 mins to put together
if you would like it with meat dice the meat cook in EVOO and butter mix a little bit of each with diced onions and some garlic (i love garlic) after its cooked add some diced tomatoes then add the frozen green beans mix
in a cup i mix some tomatoe paste with pepper paste and water then add it into the green bean mix add salt and pepper, paprika, and some well i used turkish hot pepper flakes but you can use any other pepper flake :) then let simmer for a good hour or untill everything is nice and tender and thats it :-)
I just started using a slow cooker. Ours has locks on the lid so it doesn't fly off like Turkish Delights hehe. I only use it when I am making chili and once I tried a stew. I am iffy on leaving it alone on when no one is home but today BF was home while I was at work. BTW chili turned out great! LOL :)
I love my slow cooker. I remeber my Granny having one when I was little, she was the only person I knew that had one back in the early 80's. BTW my mom actually has that slow cooker now. She use it alot since she does alot of potlucks for Girl guide unit and the Park. Never have had a problem with any slow cooker we have owned.
