For the squidogs, use any kind of sauce - I usually use something tomato based because it goes with the hotdogs.
Yesterday for my sauce, I mixed one can of beans in tomato sauce, 1/2 onion chopped, bit of vinegar, bit of soy sauce (maybe a Tbsp each ), 1/4 cup ketchup, few squirts mustard, 1/2 handful brown sugar, pepper, garlic powder. I bake in covered casserole about 45 minutes - or until onions are at desired softness.
