Lean pickin's to choose from, but I seem to have done well - no veggies left in crisper!
Baked in a roaster - two large sliced onions, one package mushrooms I sliced, one honkin' carrot sliced, six sliced cloves garlic, four pork loin chops on top - added about 1/2 cup of Italian dressing over all (I just squirted, didn't measure, lol!), put in the oven for an hour and a half.
Served over baked rice. Oh, my - it was so good!
homemade soup and grilled cheese for dinner tonight. Same dinner every Halloween. :)

Pizza today
I whipped up a homemade mac and cheese last night (Which DS and I waited for to eat last night) So that is dinner tonight before trick or treating.
Gonna make a chickpea curry and serve it with a fried flatbread (puri). Trying to incorporate more veggies and legumes into my diet.
If anyone has a really good mac & cheese recipe that they are willing to share, I would appreciate it. I would like to try something new. I've been a bit disappointed at my last efforts.

I'm not very good at it either. My stepmother used to do a great one but I've never been able to replicate it.
For us, tonight is DH's birthday. So I picked up some Swiss Chalet in the interest of a speedy meal, since DS is always anxious to hit the road trick or treating.
did yet another gf lasagna up as well as 12 large chicken thighs ( crumbed and baked ) We have been a bit naughty not eating more veggies lately!!
I made osso buco in the crockpot so all I needed to do was throw through ome pasta on to cook and we had a hot meal within mins of returning from candy trawling..
Last night was a red thai curry over rice. Tonight was jalapeņo popper chicken breast, roasted brussel sprouts with bacon and maple syrup, iceberg wedge lettuce with jalapeņo ranch dressing,bacon and a sprinkling of cheese. Dessert is going to be chocolate fudge brownies I made with a raspberry coulis and whipped cream :P
Artichoke and kale quiche with salad.
Making up some hamburger patties for tonight. Going to have hamburgers and fries. The kids will be pleased, lol.
Nice to not have to think of supper tonight - yesterday we got 2 for 1 XL pizzas, so today will be the second pizza.
just not sure what I wanna make up for Sat/Sun. Thinking about stuffing some chicken breasts now that I bought a new bag of dried cranberries and a fresh bunch of celery to add to the mixture. Then again TooCouponCrazy you have peaked my interest in doing up some burgers and fresh cut chips now....
when in doubt, make curry .... so i did
pan fried trout with fresh curry vegetables and steam rice.
pork chops, mashed potatoes and sauerkraut
kept it simple this evening, honey garlic wings and caesar salad
BBQ steak(in the snow), mini potatoes, steamed cauliflower and fesh raspberries for dessert.
Hubs and I were out and about across the line picking up some sweet deals on Halloween candy :P so since we had a latei-ish kind of lunch we just had some cheese and wine for dinner ;) now maybe some brownies from last night........
We had company for brunch today. Im still full from it but I made this amazing cinnamon apple swirl pound cake with a really yummy glaze and its calling my name. I find it unacceptable to not pig out on cinnamon-appley desserts during fall :P
so I have 10 cartons or raspberries that I really want to use to make something. I dont want to freeze it, or make jam. I already ate tons. So far I got White chocolate raspberry snickerdoodles and yogurt covered raspberries. Any suggestions?

I have some steaks thawing but I'm not totally sure if I will have BBQ or something else.
