Added - after trying a bit, it's actually pretty good. I had made the mix using water instead of milk, so I know milk would have made it richer or fluffier. When it came out of the oven, I spread some margarine on the top of the crust to soften it.

I really wanted to get a roast beef for Valentines Day dinner, but I just can't bring myself to pay that much for it. Gosh beef has gotten expensive. Even hamburger, chicken breasts are cheaper than hamburger!
Anyhow, I ended up buying pork tenderloin at Costco, I will cook that tonight. Tomorrow we're supposed to get a snowstorm, so I'll be cooking some extra in case of power outage.
I'm making a picnic lunch tomorrow for that purpose too. Coleslaw, potato salad, pasta salad... just gotta decide on the protein.
Tonight we had crockpot split pea soup.
Husband is on his way to pick up Chinese food; our son is coming over, so we got it from a place that has some of his faves (that he wouldn't get on his own), and ours, too! Can't wait!
