we always just do ours up in the oven and slice it. The guys make sammies with it the day after, first night it is just a slab of meat with applesauce, spuds and veggies.

Heading over to my parents for dinner. Mom will be making cheese and ham pie with spicy carrot/ginger soup.
We had some chicken legs and a tossed salad.
Pulled some homemade meat balls from the freezer and served those in a mushroom gravy over mashed potatoes. New recipe I found today when trying to find a dish to use up some of the mushrooms in our fridge, it has been declared a keeper.

yesterday I ended up giving the cod tongues to my grandmother as I'm not really big on them anyway. There must have been 2-3 lbs, she was thrilled..and I made a stir-fry from 2 of the steaks with mushroom, peppers, onions, rice, etc...still have a T-Bone to use so will BBQ that this evening and just have with a salad :)
Beef broccoli stir fry and fried rice.
We had pizza
Leftovers from Easter supper.
Sausage on a bun on the BBQ with sauerkraut and potato salad.
Teriyaki chicken and rice
chicken adobo with rice and side tomato/cilantro salad.
I made some pulled pork for the fresh buns DH made-whoops forgot the veggies tonight!
Spaghetti, meatballs and home made tomato sauce.
Tonight will be Teriyaki Chicken I made on the weekend over Rice also made on the weekend with some stir fried vegetables Mom is supposed to be making before she goes to work. Easy dinner tonight throw in a bowl, microwave and we are good to go.
making pasta using ground chicken and rotini pasta, mushrooms, peppers, onions, etc ..and I might use alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce....see what I feel like this evening :)
Last night my honey made porkchops on the bbq served with rice and greek salad. Leftovers for dinner tonight :)
Homemade pizza. Half veggie and Pepperoni, mushrooms and peppers on the other half.
Breaded fish, mashed potatoes and peas
salmon and green beans.
noodles and meatballs baked in mushroom soup.
Interesting how husband's birthday dinner means a bonus for me, too, lol!
Takeout - veal cutlets for the three of us, and an extra order of liver and onions for the birthday boy.

Tuna Burger with lettuce, tomato, mayo on whole wheat buns.
Tonight we are having peameal bacon (cooked in the slow cooker today- it was a big chunk) with perogies, corn and salad :)
Cleaning out the freezer can work out for good meals!
