Lastnight I bbq'd some burgers with Indian spices and did my usual pickled red onion and I added some mini cucumbers. We had butter chicken style burgers. I'm on an Indian kick big time and even more so since MIL taught me an amazing lentil recipe and a curry made with ground almonds and pistachios.
Tonight will be soup and sammies since DH and I are going out tonight. I'm thinking a leek and potato soup but that might change.
I am making Chili for the second time in my life. I am using lima beans (they are cooking right now) and ground beef.
I am making a run for the border after work, no NOT for Taco Bell. For a Target shop  So I am not sure what I will have for dinner. Will probably grab something on the road home. A cherry coke and ??
Last night I used up leftovers out of the fridge, some BBQ Pulled Pork we took out of the freezer as it has lost it seal with some leftover Mashed Potato Bake and than just because I could a Bun from the freezer with Butter.
Tonight will be Pasta Bake, we need to drop Mom's car off for service so this will be ready in the fridge for us to just pop in the oven once we get home.

Something simple since I am being treated to a big lunch today. Tomorrow night I'm treating myself to Chinese and will let DS choose what he would like.
Tonight is my happy hour night! My day off so I go shopping with a friend and we make a few pub stops along the way and then we end at a cozy outdoor covered patio with couches fireplaces and throws and have drinks and half price appies.

Beef Stroganoff with egg noodles, green beans and fresh rolls.

,,,bbq'd a steak, was craving carbs, so baked wedge fries in the oven and had a salad ...IT incl a bit of everything lol
p/u my meat box today, was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food...the roasts were a nice size and the chicken thigh packs were bulging/double layer!!
Finally remembered to take a pic of the phyllo pie - wish I had done it before I cut into it, it was SO pretty. Once you cut into it, the phyllo layers fall apart! However, it tasted fab!
