Roast beef dinner served with a beef au jus and Yorkshire puddings (super easy to make)!
So yummy and pretty much a shove in the oven and forget about it for a couple hours kind of dinner.
Salad: romaine lettuce, garden cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and smoked salmon with a sun-dried tomato vinaigrette.

Janetta, that prime rib looks sooooo good, I'm drooling, I love making a prime rib roast, you're right, so easy, a great oven meal. I made pork chops, smashed new potatoes and corn on the cob last night.
For tonight, not sure, dh wants to head out camping this afternoon, so I'll have to see, either way, a nice steak sound in orderWe all need a little sunshine every now and then

Last night was Harvey's veggie burgers with fries and rings. Completely unhealthy. Completely delicious.

DFiancé made spaghetti and easy tomato sauce (brown the beef, onion, garlic, peppers and add a can of purchased sauce). I made side salads. Boring but got the job done.

Tonight was veg soup - had the base broth from boiling cabbage for holubtsi leaves this morning - so added leftover chopped cabbage, onions, carrots, rice, with lots of dill.
Then chicken wings and we tried Green Giant's Savory Selections - pasta and veggies in garlic sauce - not great, wouldn't buy again (tried because of BOGO + coupon). Not really saucy, just watery.

Grilling poutine? Wouldn't the gravy cause a lot of smoke? LOL!
BBQ steak tonight (the cheap stuff is running out!), with packet potatoes, and a salad.

Picked up some fresh corn at the farm where we picked onions and peppers today will have that and stuffed grape leaves that I made last night.
Sad to see that the farm where we were had a soil born disease wipe out 80% of the red pepper crop. Acre after acre of rotting red peppers literally liquifying . All his other crops were o.k. though, and we did get some beautiful red peppers from the good plants.
