The most fattening dinner ever... Chilli, cheese, onion, and tomato on fries! bought all ingredients with coupons, and used our deep fryer to cook the fries. My daughters made up a box of chocolate cake (on sale 2/4 at independent), and now I am sipping a PC Chamomile tea. :glasses9:
Spaghetti and meatballs, a fresh Italian loaf, caesar salad and a glass of red wine.
Scalloped potatoes with ham and peas.
we had spaghetti squash top with spaghetti sauce and mozzarella .....yummy....
Realized A&W coupons would expire tomorrow, so we had teens and fries, root beer - and my sweet husband brought me home two prized root beer suckers!
toasted PB sandwich
lemon yoghurt
Homemade pizza tonight - son's fave way with seasoned ground pork, diced baked ham, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, cheddar and mozza cheese. I make a separate little one for myself with just a little bit of cheese, no pepperoni, and some pineapple.
Will serve with a garden salad - variety of veggies with hard boiled eggs mixed in, and a sweet mayo dressing.
cleaned out the fridge today so, making homemade fried rice; onions, carrots, celery, peas, chopped up burger patty, soya sauce. also, picked up a box of no name egg rolls so will throw those in the fryer for a little bit, the girls like to dip them in the cherry VH sauce. will make extra for our lunches tomorrow.
a joint effort....... DH and I started early on 2/3 things to make today. For dinner we will have the lazy cabbage ( massive roast pan full ) and for brunch we just had a piping hot bowl of homemade butternut squash soup. He prefers his as is, with all the chunks of veg and broth, but I puree mine in the blender. We also grated a whack of cabbage and carrot enough to fill a bag. ( ready to eat coleslaw! ) we just add dressing when we mix up our individual servings.
This cabbage was so massive, that was why we made 3 things!!
Clearing out the fridge/freezer... Chicken skewers, chicken sausages and whatever's available for sides. I wonder if I feel up to making potato salad...
Beef Kabobs, Scented rice,Grilled veggies and apple pie for dessert.
Beef Keema and parathas.
Burger King with a coupon of coarse
Saturday I made chicken quesadilla with lots of red, yellow and orange peppers!
Sunday I made creamy roasted kumato tomatoe soup, I add 3 boiled potatoes to the blender when I blend the tomatoes, makes it so creamy no one can guess I don't use cream!
Tonight will be roasted pork tenderloin with potatoes and a lemon peppers green salad
Tonight is gonna be tenderloin porc in the Creuset(I dont have a slow cooker) with some veggies and mashed patatoes...mom recepie:)
Last night we had Homemade Mac & Cheese with BBQ Seasoned Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast and Candied Acorn Squash
Tonight is a mystery I will be home first but I have no idea what I feel like. Hoping to find something and simple quick maybe some sort of chicken stir fry to use up some of the 10 packages of Chinese Noodles I found the other day.
Lasagna, side salad and garlic bread.
Roasted chicken thighs with potatoes, onions, carrots, celery - seasoning will be whatever I flick into the roaster!
fish and potaote homke made
Vegetarian chili, leftover keema, mashed potato/rutabga mix, leftover pulled pork on a bun-or any combination thereof. That ought to hit all the food groups, use up the leftovers and keep the troops happy with choices.
Fried Pork Chops with mushrooms and onions, scalloped potatoes and fresh beets from the garden.
Attachment 295681 Chicken stir-fry. Lots of chopping but so worth it. And the best leftovers!
