Probably fish. Going out with DH for supper tonight. The place is known locally here for their tasty fish dishes.
V-Day special dinner for DH and I later today. Secretly prepped some appy's ( Cold Tiger shrimp in small goblet with seafood sauce ), Rolled some California Rolls with spicy peanut satay tuna/veggies in some and shrimp/veggies in other ), also did one in rice paper to cut into portions ( Vietnamese Spring Roll? )
Baking these later ( wonton wrappers filled with diced mushroom, green onion and low fat Laughing Cow cheese ( baked as bundles ), and just a few stuffed mushrooms, made a very small pot of clam chowder. Main course is lobster tails, veggie fried rice and roasted cauliflower slices.
There will be NO chocolates......unless he buys me some, it would be rude not to eat them.....hee hee
Happy V-Day all!

excellent information like you
Sweet n sour beef and rice.
Ordered in Chinese. Cantonese chow mien, breaded shrimp, beef with veggies, mushroom fried rice and egg rolls.
Tonight we had Chicken in Mushroom Soup over Rice. I have to say I am loving baked rice, no idea why I didn't start baking my rice years ago.
Chinese takeout, our son came over. There's enough food for all of us to have supper tomorrow night as well.
Raspberry cheesecake for dessert, which I made.
Went to REd Lobster, had to wait awhile but it was well worth it. We had Salmon with shrimp, rice, broccoli and their buns.
..I have a beef roast in the oven..no idea what to have with it..tired of potatoes and root veggies..lol..maybe for a change I might make scalloped potatoes..and I have bottled homemade beets that my aunt made..who knows maybe I'll just eat the roast when its done..lol...
Slow Cooker roasted chicken, scalloped potatoes & green beans.
I've been one very lucky lady. My MIL sent a huge care package of some of my faves so I wouldn't have to worry about meals after my surgery. So for the last week and a bit we have feasted on lemon dahl, spinach dahl, chicken corn chowder, veggie soup, fresh baked bread, homemade biscotti and Indian ravi. I love my MIL.
Last night DH made me a big plate of roasted butternut squash with spinach sautéed with shallots and garlic and some goat cheese on top as per my request. I'm so proud of him. He's really taken to the domestic role since I'm not allowed to do those things for a few weeks. I wonder what he'll make for dinner tonight? :)
I made sweet & sour chicken, Chinese chicken curry and fried rice. Instead of buying peppers for all those dishes, I found 50% stickers on some pre-chopped "taco toppers".
Tonight we are having Pot Roast Stew which has a tomato base with mushrooms, carrots and celery over Mashed Potatoes and on the side some Roast Cauliflower
Shake n bake pork chops, Scalloped potatoes and carrots. Apple crisp and vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Kale salad with garlic fried prawns
I had some macaroni and cheese for dinner tonight. We baked cookies this afternoon so nobody felt like eating anything big. They were too full from sampling cookies. :)
Attachment 305587 Steak and shrimp. My man likes a big steak! I cut mine in 1/2 so now DS can have steak wraps for lunch!
You are all making me so hungry. My throat is so sore from coughing and my mouth and tongue are raw from using the inhaler. In the last week I`ve eaten a can of chicken noodle soup and some yogort.
I cooked rice with meatballs in a mushroom and veggie sauce. The meatballs were ones that we precooked and froze. I cooked a white potato to turn into another new baby food for our twins. Our 3.5yr old son and I baked oatmeal fruit and peanut bars this evening with the 6 month old twins in the kitchen with us.
I chopped extra celery and onion to help me with the prep for tomorrow's lunch plans. Home made ground beef soup with some pearl barley, veggies, and tomato base. Dh doesn't like cooked tomatoes very much, or home made soups, so I know that I will be eating most of it myself. I might freeze some do that I don't get to tired of it.
Tuesday's supper depends on what I feel up to by the end of the day. Might be raid the fridge leftovers. I might turn the end of the pork roast into a veggie stir fry with egg noodles. Or I might cook up the last of the red potatoes from my garden and turn it into shepherd's pie. We will just have to wait and see.
Strip loin steaks, baked potatoes and grilled veggies on the BBQ. Chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Probably something out of a box
Roaster meal - chicken thighs and legs, potatoes, carrots, onions, minced garlic, dill, paprika, s+p, today I had chicken stock, but usually I just use water - I just put it all in the oven at 400 for about an hour, take the cover off and turn the potatoes over, roast open for another half hour. So simple but so very yummy.
Oh, kernel corn added for me.
Tonight was very simple-roasted cauliflower, baked potatoes and baked Bratwurst sausage.
Sunday - garlic meatballs with rice and leftovers from the fridge.
Monday - homemade pogos with onion rings
Tuesday - homemade hamburgers and pasta with homemade tomato cream sauce (sauce was made in the fall with our garden tomatoes)
AND enough leftover pasta for dh & mine's lunches for the week
Tonight's supper was no yolk noodles, boiled mixed veggies, leftover pork roast heated with pineapple tidbits and bbq sauce. Still some leftovers. I'm heading out for coffee with a friend soon, I don't get the chance to go out alone very often.
Leftover chinese food.
