I am hotel living this week so I grabbed a Pizza Hut dinner box. Oh my, it was under $20 and I barely ate half of it. Tons of left overs for lunches and dinner well I am away which is nice.
Even though my meals are covered I like to be cost conscious so I can add the pizza to the items I grabbed for lunches and Breakfasts at the store today, a store made salad & yogurt. I will be well feed this week.

Still working on my weekly menu :) Done :)
There's such a thing as a weekly menu?
..I haven't been feeling well the past couple of days, so its been mostly toast..lol...but I actually feel hungry this morning so it will probably be a big "cook-out" in the kitchen this afternoon--TBD :)
Made me smile this morning when I read this....Cute....LOL.
I usually do up a Menu for the week on Sunday with sale items, finding something in the freezer, etc. If I stick with it my life is so much easier. I walk in the door and know what we are having for supper. Sometimes it changes in the week but not often as I usually do follow it. I find this way I'm always using up items that I have and not much waste :)
i've been craving KFC so hubby is going to pick up a family bucket - extra crispy - on his way home. We've noticed 1 location by us is renovating and the other one has already been renovated and the chicken are better - even the gravy is much better.
Tenderized steak with mushrooms and onions, mashed potatoes and beets. Apple blossoms and vanilla ice cream for dessert.
I had sauteed pork loin chops yesterday, added Greek dressing to the pan, then let that marinate overnight.
Today I roasted potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery, garlic, basil, then added the meat and sauce when it was almost done.
I also had extra corn. Everything was yummers!

It turned out I had a late lunch of buns with cheez whiz and lettuce - so for supper, I'll just make some packaged soup - husband will have leftover pork with potatoes and veggies, plus some buns with sausage maybe if he needs more food. I'll grab something later if I need to.
BLTT (bacon, lettuce, tomato and turkey) sub. Lettuce went on last just after the picture was taken :)

..before I went to bed last night I made this slow cooker white bean soup so it could cook all night...: http://www.budgetbytes.com/2013/09/s...ite-bean-soup/
its really simple and good (I made it exactly with the exception of paprika) it could definitely use a ham bone but nice for something simple for a change...so I'll tweak it next time with ham or bacon, etc (then it will be totally awesome) looked just liked the picture(s) ...so going to have with honey ham sandwiches, spicy harvarti , lettuce tomato, honey mustard, mayo :)
