was up very early, so pressure cooked the beans I had soaked last night, got the veggies ( onion, carrots, celery, bell peppers ) diced, burger was thawed. Did up a roastpan of chili for the guys.
That will be for a few meals for them.
Roasted up the butternut squash, sauteed my herbs/veggies ( basil, onion, celery ) then " everybody into the blender! " for a velvety soup. I have to limit myself to 1 large mug at a time, otherwise I'd have no tummy room for anything else....ha ha
Was happy to use the low hydro rate while the oven and elements were on ( all done before 7 a.m. )
Curry chicken with roti

Hot hamburger open faced sandwiches with hash browns, mixed veggies and gravy. Picked up a fruit platter from NF second last best before date for $1:99 for dessert, I was a little worried it was ok but it is really tasty!

I'm worried about stuff like that too. I bought chocolate milk from shoppers one day before expiry for .50 cents and it was still good. Also got a huge fruit platter from walmart one day for $6.00 but it was still a week before expiry so I have no idea why it was like 60% off lol.
Maple glazed salmon with rice and veggies.

Just made myself vegan "tuna" salad. Chickpeas, celery, lemon juice and vegan avocado mayo. Turned out really good. The mayo was crazy expensive though for $10 but not many places I can get soy free vegan mayo here. Also served with veggie sticks and no I don't peel my carrots but I do wash them lol. I also found that these dempster's buns are vegan all though they don't label them as vegan. Oh by the way that post above where I bought chocolate milk was before I started my vegan diet haha. ;)
Something with Taco Meat, we have some in the fridge to eat up or freeze so I voted for eat up. Not sure yet if we will do Nachos, Taco Bowl, Taco Salad or something with Tortillas, maybe Quesadillas
Salmon steaks, chicken stir fry with lots of veggies and bean sprouts and basmati rice. Probably a ice cream sandwich for dessert.
We are meeting people near Lake Ontario downtown for dinner at a micro brewery for dinner and a pint then later we are going out for a boat ride to see Toronto from the lake at night. I'm really excited
