Tonight will be tacos. My son went to a Mexican store and bought a bunch of goodies he thought would be cool - some of which were fresh soft corn tortillas. There are only six small ones, so will supplement with the kit of stand up hard ones I have. Husband will probably just taste one of the soft ones (he doesn't like the hard ones), so he'll probably just eat some of the seasoned meat, along with leftover spaghetti and meatballs.

Note - son also bought Coke and Pepsi in bottles from Mexico - well, frankly, they are both awesome, since they are made with 'real' sugar instead of the high fructose corn syrup crap we get here.
He also bought guacamole - something I can make, but don't since I don't like it (I know that's wrong....) - and he just loved it, said there were other small cut up veggies in it. The container was about a cup - and at first he didn't want to tell me what he paid - it was over $7! Oh, well, he paid for it - and enjoyed it!
I told him that I will make it for him anytime he wants!

Tonight is colby chowder and homemade tea biscuits. Great way to use up leftover ham. Cook cubed ham, potatoes, carrots and onion. Melt colby cheese in a white sauce and add to veg.

i made some braised lamb shanks for hubby. they simmered all evening yesterday for him to eat tonight.

i made chicken noodle veggie soup for my daughter, she's happy.

i had peanut butter toast with tea.

the boy, well he's allover the place and hard to feed. he'll sit down and behave and actually eat something when hubby is home later.

Tonight was Rice with Mushroom Sauce (better known as cream of mushroom soup). I was going to add some mixed veggies but that didn't happen so I had a side dish as a main.

For dessert a cinnamon bun from Panera (Oh I Love Panera, can't believe I found one in Canada, in the States they are everywhere) and best of all I got it for free.

Tonight's supper will be baked porkchops in mushroom sauce, with that sauce used over perogies, along with sauteed onions, plus peas for the required greenery.

Last night I made a Tex-Mex hash and some homemade tea-biscuits to go with it. Tonight ???? It will be something with some of the leftover ham from Easter Sunday, any suggestions? My dd has requested my pretzel buns with slaw and pulled pork for her b-day tomorrow, so I have to get out and pick up a pork shoulder roast and today I guess I'll be making some pretzel buns. Busy day as I also want to take the dogs to the dog park.
