I was in the er from 2pm to almost 10pm because of weird chest pains and they found nothing wrong lol. Well at 7pm they gave me an egg salad sandwich and like 4 apple juice. ;)
We tried the Cavendish oven fries, but most of us weren’t big fans. We also had ham sausage and boiled mixed veggies.
..going to the cabin, very excited, not sure for one night or 2...it's going to be fun...not exactly sure what I'm having for food, a bit of this and that...lot of things can cook right on the wood stove so time to decide, raid the fridge/freezer and pack the cooler...
Bro is taking Mom out to dinner tonight and I am tagging along as well his gf will be there. Mom's choice and she decided on the local Japanese Restaurant. They advertise as a Buffet but it is really all you can eat and you order to your table and it is brought to you vs going up to a buffet.
I plan to eat way too much Chicken Teriyaki Sushi personally lol.
Home made burger patties, KD, veggies...either fresh or frozen, not sure yet.
Our weekend plans kind of changed so tonight will be Harveys as I still have a few of the 5 dollar cards that came out of cases of beer. They exp beginning of Feb so may as well use them up

My first time making Peking duck wraps. Well, I didn’t make the duck, it came from Vancouver Chinatown. I carved the prepared duck and broiled the meat and skin until crispy. I got the Peking duck wraps from the Asian market. Crispy duck, thin spears of geeen onion and hoisin sauce...yummy and quite authentic. I also made bbq pork and fauxrice. I wish Peking duck wasn’t so pricey, I would make this more often. Has anyone here made their own from scratch?
Tonite was Alfredo sauce ,noodles ,red pepper., broccoli ,chicken and Diet Pepsi
Weather is real so my son is going to bbq steaks and baked potatoes

I made up some fun foods for Hockey Day In Canada today.
Right now though I can barely keep my eyes open, probably won't watch the last game that is on now.
Grilled the gang up homemade burgers using a lean ground beef, veal and pork mixture. " George Foremaned " up the all-beef franks. Made deviled eggs, egg salad, cut raw veggies, garden salad and coleslaw.
Then for dessert a Devil's Food layer cake ( boxed ) filled in between with Smuckers choc syrup, Dream Whip cream and fresh sliced strawberries and whole strawberries in the cream on the top, chocolate shavings as well. Mmmmmm. Nasty good!
@walkonby Yeah I enjoyed it, made enough for 3 meals. You sure did make a lot over there lol, it all sounds good. Hope you have a good night. :)
