    as you all my know i had made some chillie 2days ago today is day 3 lol and DH has never got a chance to eat it since day 1 we went to his uncles house last min thing yesterday i was out then DH called to say lets go to his grandparents house and he ate there so today if everything goes well we will be having chilli lol his with ground beef mine without :D

    It is a biscuit mix, but I just mix up my own biscuit recipe I make and make it like a very thick batter and add in the 'extras' then drop it by spoonfulls onto a pan. I do not have 'premixed' or 'premade' foods around so I adapt....cheaper this way too I think....

    Getting tired of just making pea soup with leftover ham I came up with a couple of more alternatives this week.

    Sauteed some red peppers and onions, minced some ham, tossed with pasta and alfredo...mmmm....kids loved it! Nice thing with this one you can make it easy or fancy, veggies or none, less cheese or extra...it is really up to you!

    Second dish I treated the ham bone like pork hocks and with some extra help of boxed gelatin .... voila....homemade headcheese! Simple and easy! This one isn't my favourite (actually I won't eat it...), but hubby loves it and it's great for lunch or a snack.
