Sounds awesome, harbie - we'll be doing out snackin' lunch tomorrow, it's always yummy.

You gave me a reminder about capers, though - I have some to use up.

Tonight, I had a hard boiled egg and toast - whoopieding. The men had leftover salmon casserole I heated up with melted cheese on top, and served with sour cream.

prime steak, fried mushrooms, potatoe casserole (from SC recipe), Mann's veggies and dip platter (no max value FPC from valid complaint = $12.99)

The cats were quite happy with the fresh steak pieces.

A bit of mish mash leftovers I suppose. Some appetizers ( all frozen boxed kind, cooked way too many up last 2 nights) a fried rice made yesterday with ginger and chix breast and veg. Oh ya, the last of the 2 alarm chili ( I sprinkled a bit too many chili pepper flakes) We still have fresh kaiser buns and cold cuts that never got touched. I could sit here all day, the family has plenty to eat.

NY steak tonight (thanks to Co-op for a great deal!) - hopefully barbecued! Baked potatoes, and a big salad.

Veggie pot pie, fried rice for the kiddies that did not want the pie. Today-snacky stuff and using up leftovers.

So funny to quote myself! Anyway, props to my sweet husband for barbecueing in the dark and frigid temps at 7:30 - they were the most amazing steaks ever, just melt-in-your-mouth. They cost just over $12 for four huge steaks!
I used Club House Montreal Steak Spice on them, and they were perfect. I made packet potatoes (sliced russets layered with margarine and french onion soup mix - three layers per foil packet, baked in oven at 400 for about 45 min) - they were just awesome (nice crunchy bottom layer!); and we just had mixed veggies to go with.
    Leftover for lunch today!

Sauted Onions and roast beef and Pasta with tomato sauce sprinkled with cheese. Salad on the side.
Added cut-up Turkey bacon and tons of spices plus chopped green onions just before serving. I couldn't believe how yummy it was just using up leftovers.
