I'm tempted to make a half batch..maybe tweak it a bit.
    It's not like I can follow instructions 100% anyways..lol

No problem give it a try, it was easy. Its only kidney beans, gluten flour, a bunch of seasoning, water, oil etc. I was surprised how easy it was. But if you do a 1/2 batch watch out it might be a bit dry or chewy. I will make more later and try with that bbq sauce.

Last night I made homemade pizza - pepperoni, summer sausage, ham, onions, mushrooms and lotsa cheese - for the men. I made a small, thin one for me with mostly ham (the other meats were really spicy), onions, mushrooms, and just a little bit of cheese.
Made a double batch so son has pizza to take for lunches for a few days.

I like making homemade pizza. I sometimes buy those molinaro pizza crusts that come with sauce. Then add all my toppings, I really like the thin crust ones they sell.

Making pork chop suey tonight - have a ton of veggies that need using! I'll make it with pork loin, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, mushrooms, celery, bean sprouts - I make it with lots of sauce because we like it over rice.

DH has a cold and is asking for comfort food big time. Last night was poached eggs, toast and asparagus (3 of his faves). Tonight is vegan shepherd's pie - I do mine with mashed potatoes (cubing them without peeling them for the fibre), creamed corn (the stuff from a can because it's a weeknight), and a mix of onions, celery, mushrooms and a whole lot of kidney beans (that I cooked yesterday) - plus some spices - for the base. It is soooo magical that DH doesn't mind eating as lunchtime leftovers for 3 days ... not to mention so much cheaper and healthier than the beef and gravy version he grew up with

I think I'll make vegan corn fingers on the side. These are awesome possum and worth a try if you've got some creamed corn to use up... http://www.thebloomingplatter.com/ve...e-corn-fingers
