Pork stew in the slow cooker (I'm not so scared of it anymore! Just need some practice with liquid levels, etc.). It had cubes of pork loin, sliced potatoes and onions, goo from three heads of roasted garlic, broccoli stems and florets, peas, grape tomatoes (I put them in frozen, and they were great), with french onion soup mix and mushroom soup for seasoning.

Garlic (super garlic-y) potatoes
Skirt steak (had to use up the older stuff from the freezer!)
Those noodles are from Hamburger Helper, made without the powdered sauce.
The gravy is an Ikea recipe, potatoes roasted and brussels sprouts sautéed in butter and olive oil!
I ate that entire plate and had to roll away from the dining room..lol

I made calzones with chicken/mushroom/broccoli alfredo filling. I was going to do pizza filling too but it was taking too long so I made just a plain pizza with the rest of the dough.
I make my dough in the bread maker - super easy and good!

I picked up a veal roast at RCSS for a great price, so I'm making that with potatoes, carrots, gravy, and yorkshire pudding.

I cooked a nice bone in ham on Sunday. We had scalloped potatoes and steamed cabbage in a white sauce.
There are only three of us, so I'm trying to figure out what to turn the leftover ham into. There is still quite a bit left. Any ideas?Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

I made split pea sausage soup in the slow cooker! ( I used diced pork instead of sausage though to lower the sodium content) had some bread with it! very yummy!

aussie, the split pea soup sounds yummy! may you pm me the recipe? I love find new ways to use my slow cooker!
tonight we had steaks with herb-roasted sweet potatoes, sauteed peppers/red onions and salad. I then had a small slice of a dessert cheese from our local cheese market. Mmm, mmm good!
