Meatloaf, stuffed green peppers and corn.
It's all ready to go and I'm getting ready to dash out for an afternoon meeting; just needs DH to come home, follow the instructions on the note, pop it all in the oven to cook and voila. Finished supper when I get home!"Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle

Fast food tonight--McD's or BK...not so sure...have coupons for both...(LOL!)...but we just want something fast. We're picking the kids up from school so we can go to the fair tonight and I don't wanna fool around with supper at home and dishes etc.

Last night MIL made the best homemade lasagne (made the noodles from scratch), beautiful salad with veggies from her garden and homemade caesar salad dressing, homemade focaccia bread with caramelized onions(also from her garden) and for dessert pear crumble from her own pear tree and I got the leftovers home
Not sure what I will make tonight that could compare lol

We had what we call Mexican Sketti. Ground beef cooked with taco seasoning like you're going to make tacos, only mix it with some macaroni, add salsa, cheese and sour cream.

Last night was clear out the leftovers for supper - pizza, ribs, soup.
Dessert later was a lovely spice cake. My husband had gone after work to help out a man from our church with some electrical work, and came home with three big bags of goodies - the cake was from there.
Also given to us were a bag of tomatoes, one of cucumbers, onion, a huge squash (which I have to ID first before I can figure out how to cook it; I've only ever made spaghetti squash); two quarts of dill pickles, and a jar of jam. Such wonderfully kind people to share; they live in the city, but have a huge garden on their farm.
