I'm cooking double tonight. A double batch of meat balls for meatballs with mashed potatoes and veggies tonight, and spaghetti and meatballs tomorrow.

Last night was perogies with sauteed onions and mushrooms.
Today is Good Friday, a fasting day, so just a homemade veggie soup for supper.

http://www.amazon.ca/Instant-Pot-IP-...ds=instant+pot
I read the reviews and decided to use my amazon credits from Swagbucks on it. I've tried it as a rice cooker and pressure cooker, and both turned out great!
Edited to add: I used the Saute function to do the onions and brown the meat, added in the rest of the ingredients, then used the Meat/Stew function to finish it up. 40 minutes and the ribs were literally fall off the bone!

Interesting tool, that Instant Pot thing.
It's a beautiful sunny day in Haliwood, although the wind is a bit cool. For tonight it shall be...steak on the new bbq. *drool* DS does not care for steak (or beef at all really, outside of hamburger, thinks it's 'too chewy'), so he's getting some pork chops in the crock pot that he loves, served with rice. Also having baked potatoes, and going to try grilling some asparagus. I bought some ground turkey today, made up some burgers for future use, might grill a couple of them too.

Although Easter Sunday is tomorrow, our foods were blessed this afternoon at church.
Usually we would have our Easter breakfast after church Sunday morning, but we're 'kinda cheating' and having the traditional blessed foods for supper. (We won't go to hell or anything, since at the blessing Christ is Risen is sung, so it's more of a technicality. I had never ever thought of doing this til one year we were having a priest over, and he said it was fine!)
So we have to eat the blessed foods first, everything which is in the basket - but, of course, there is more of everything!
Baked ham, ham garlic sausage, Paska and Babka breads, boiled eggs, green onion, cottage cheese, butter - along with cabbage rolls.
