^ LOL, yesterday, I just bought a 12 lb box of pork button bones from the butcher - but for us humans to eat!
Tonight for supper, I'm making two quiches, along with a big Caesar salad.

Last night was chicken breast and lentils, cooked with lots of fresh garlic, tomatoes, and fennel, and a spinach and chard salad.

had my first solid food tonight since Sun Aug 25th, I sauteed onion, mushroom and red/orange peppers in coconut oil, and had a small green salad and dressed it with balsamic/stevia...well it was dinner, but why did I not get a euphoric feeling after juicing for 5 days?? Anyone know?

WOB, maybe because your body is just seeing the food as fuel... otherwise, I don't know.
Do you feel better?

Why were you juicing for so many days, walkonby? Just veggies? I tried that once with green vegetables...it only lasted 1/4 a glass, lol.
Tonight's supper was grilled salmon, marinated and grilled portobello mushrooms with mozarella cheese, asparagus, and green leaf lettuce salad.

snuffaluffagus, I watched this video when pattySmyth posted it

it kind of inspired me to try it for the 3 day, then a coworker offered to join me and said lets do 5 days, I have never tried one, wanted to see firsthand. Well losing 9 lbs in 5 days was thrilling ( but I have always lost just 2 lbs a week whenever I tried losing weight naturally through a healthy diet) but I have felt awesome all 5 days, was never craving anything, also I really do love green veggies ( well most veggies) so I loved these juices.
There were red, orange, purple and green juices in the " recipe " choices, I drank a few of each every day! Plus 1 large can coconut water, herbal tea, and plenty of water.Last edited by walkonby; Sat, Aug 31st, 2013 at 12:38 AM.

Last night was Mr Greek before a little grocery shopping. Had Chicken Slovaki (sp?) with fries and a salad.
Tonight is Oma's bday dinner at a local restaurant, we are usually only offered a limited menu since it will be a large group (3 or 4 choices) so we will see what our options are this year.
