Last night I was spoiled , DF made (pre)marinated pork, cheesy broccoli (so overcooked it was mash), and amazing cheese bread. A+ for effort. The pork and break were great though.
Bonus! He cleaned up everything to MY standards (lol), bathed DD and did the whole bed routine .
I think he was grateful for me letting him watch hockey the day before while I did all the dindin, cleaning, laundry, bedtime routine AND cupcakes for his hockey pool the night before

I'm craving pasta, so think I will make spaghetti this evening, I have ground beef, sweet onion, garlic, mushrooms, yellow & orange pepper and tomatoes I canned the other day and lots of fresh basil from the garden that is still surviving to add. Will prob make a big batch of sauce and freeze some for a later use.

Feel out of sorts today, and i dont feel like cooking. Dont know what to have for dinner. I would be happy with a bowl ofRice Krispies and cut up fruit. Hubby suggested pork chops etc so i told him to make it. Hah! He is snoozing in front of the tv right now. Fat chance he will make dinner! lol Anyway, maybe we will have take-out. Stay tuned.

chicken and veggies in a curry cream sauce over plain rice.
Smells delish, but I know my stomach will want absolutely nothing to do with the chicken.

We just got back from Whistler and had an AMAZING time! Some of the highlights for dinners were the rustic bruschetta with toasted Focaccia . Tomato . Artichoke . Black Olive Feta Cheese . Roasted Garlic. Free run chicken with Lemon Parmesan Risotto and Arugula and Chorizo Jus. The New York steak with Portobello Mushrooms and Peppercorn Garlic Jus and potato puree. Then there was the wonderful breakfast buffet with the usual suspects plus omelets loaded with your choice of fillings like bacon, spinach, goat cheese, mushrooms, asparagus and chorizo to name a few. Lastly was the mustard glazed salmon, veg and garlic smashed taters and the most delish Thai food ever! We had a group of 10 (DH was on business) and the REP paid so we did family style with what seemed like plate after plate after plate and the same for pitchers of beer and bottles of wine!!! The best part was we paid for nothing! This is MY cinnamon bear next to the hotels cinnamon bear outside of the bar
