Dinner was at the local Military Whist late this afternoon. We had egg sandwiches and ham and mock chicken with swiss cheese sandwiches, 2 kinds of zucchini loaves; one with raisins and the other with walnuts and raisins; and lots of coffee and tea.

You and my husband must have gone to the same culinary school, lol.

Tonight it will be steamed carrots, sauteed onions and spinach, with a turkey breast roast. Lamb is once again delayed another day because I didn't get home in time to start it and it needs 4+ hours in the oven. Tomorrow for sure, lol.

I've been living on A&W teen burgers for the last month on & off...for $2.50 or $3 each, you can't beat the price..I make sure they make mine 'Fresh-Frozen' so they are piping hot when I get them...I always take the Province newspaper home if I go there late at night.

BBQ Chicken drumsticks with green beans, potatoes and carrots in fried breadcrumbs with a nice greek salad. Dessert will be Compote de Rhubarbe & Pommes (Rhubarb & Apple compote). I found this recipe on the internet and it is simply delicious, not too sweet, a bit tart. I love it!

We'll either fire up the BBQ or use the oven.
I have chicken and pineapple marinating in the fridge for kabobs. Have it with chopped up garden potatoes and onions in tinfoil. Always have a glass of milk with supper.

edit: didn't cook it because I ended up with food poisoning from something else that I ate. Should probably cook it up when dh gets home. He's out with some friends because she is moving and starting a new job on Monday.

It turned out great! Needed an extra 15min of cook time compared to the recipe, but it was soooo good! Definitely something I would make again.
