Last night I made swordfish; M&M meats has it on for 1/2 price this week. I sauteed it in butter and lemon, and with it we had sauteed straw mushrooms, pea pods, and UB bistro jasmine rice. All of it was really delicious.

Tonight is wing night. A couple weeks ago Pinty's wings were on sale, plus I had PC points on frozen food, plus I printed off the coupon. I think I landed up paying around $6 a box. Not sure what to make for sides...I would like to have salad but I'm not paying $2.97 for a head of lettuce, that's just ridiculous.

Uh, probably a decent time but you'll be having some tummy troubles....

Come on over, I'll feed ya!

Tonight, heated ham garlic sausage; made a pasta sauce for scoobydoo pasta out of sliced fresh mushrooms, onion, garlic, tomato paste and broth. I also had canned Niblets.

Husband had bought big cans of tomato paste instead of tomato sauce, so I'll portion it out and freeze. There aren't many things I use paste for, so usually just buy the teeny cans.

Family Day I cooked up a large pot of beef tortellini and cheese ravioli in red sauce, battered and deep fried a dozen Alaskan pollock fillets, plus a few onion rings, and made " I dunno whatcha call this " in my huge a*s skillet......20 skinless boneless chix thighs, seared brown on outside, sprinkled liberally with garlic powder, then removed, sauteed the onions, celery, added chix back to pan, simmered slowly in bbq sauce, then added fresh carrot coins, and snow peas till cooked.... not too shabby!

Teensy bit further north, but Good News: this AM the windchill didn't hit -40, it was ONLY -38!

Well, it's Pancake Day, so I'm making some!
Also, sausages and scrambled eggs with onions and mushrooms.
