I ended up "sharpening" a zucchini with my Spiralizer last night and substituting for noodles with my meatballs. I also made a little pile using rice because I made some for my roommate and plus I wasn't sure I would be crazy about the "zoodles" I ended up LOVING them and am hooked. I am going to be playing around with this gadget and making healthy substitutes like crazy now. I left most of the rice on my plate and it felt GREAT, I don't need those empty calories!

Beef veg noodle soup - then there is fresh bread and meats for sandwiches.
I'm having one sandwich with headcheese, another half with corned beef, with cucumber spears.Last edited by Natalka; Thu, May 21st, 2015 at 11:28 PM.

I have a spiralizer too, haven't used it in awhile, maybe I'll buy some zucchini today.
Last night we didn't plan so we ended up at Swiss Chalet. I felt bad afterwards for eating all that crap, had ribs and some wings (wings were just meh, nothing special). Going to try to be better for the weekend!

I planted my little garden this morning, spinach, beets, carrots, green onion & yellow onion...it's still early so haven't decided what else I might plant..herbs for sure....it's still on the cool side here...so I'll have to cover with plastic at night until the risk of frost passes...I couldn't wait any longer...lol....I'm soo tired and it's FRIDAY!! nap, long soak in the tub and something simple for dinner...maybe shrimp linguine, with cherry tomatoes, mushrooms & basil...(frozen shrimp, bottled alfredo sauce) ..then I'll be ready for the weekend....zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

Lamb chops on the BBQ (never had them this way, I hope they are OK), potatoes and grilled veggies. Since it's Friday a glass of wine is in order.

Pork stir fry then strawberry shortcake.
Went into RASS today and found some pork tenderloin for around 4.50/kg so I bought 5.

Last night I made home made corn on the cob, kubasaw, store bought macaroni salad, coleslaw and a glass of milk.
None of us ate the coleslaw, good thing I keep the dressing separate until it is on a person's plate. We can have it with tonight's supper. I had 2 cobs of corn, kubasaw, and milk. I was too full and had really been looking forward to the fresh corn. LO had kubasaw, green grapes, and milk. He didn't want to try the corn. Dh had everything except the coleslaw. We are going away to a conference for the next two days, so I'm trying not to have much leftovers in the fridge while we are gone.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

We had the meal we have when I don't plan, spaghetti and meatballs - meatballs from the freezer that i cooked last week, jarred sauce.
I saw this on Amazon and I'm curious. It's a good deal and has great reviews. My mother had a stovetop pressure cooker, it blew its valve a few times, I've never used one. But wonder if this is a good thing! Anybody have pressure cooker experience?
