..sigh...it was a great night ...the boat races went ahead today (thankfully!!) I did a lot of the bbqing again (officially the BBQ Queen, for a small place and a cold miserable day I think I bbq'd and sold 100+ hotdogs and 200++ hamburgers AND I toasted every single bun, all on 2 small bbqs ) I ate 3 hamburgers..lol

I wanted to add a note about the ribs - gosh, they were meaty and delish. I had boiled them yesterday, and husband BBQed them perfectly.
Interestingly, they are from Austria - so the label says. They were 8.80/kg and two slabs were just under $13 and plenty enough for the two men and me. Glad there's another package in the freezer for another time!
One thing I was surprized with - first time using Sweet Baby Ray's sauce - so many SCers have written about it over the last while with getting it cheap/free with coupons, etc. Got two bottles for $3, the regular flavour.
But wowsers, was it every spicy! But tasty! My son and I just had to alternate bites of rib with potato and salad. Husband didn't notice spicy at all... he never does, lol!Last edited by Natalka; Sun, Jul 19th, 2015 at 09:35 PM.

I had Hamburger Helper last night, the stroganoff kind. It was a freebie. Will not do that again. I ate it out of hunger but find it tasteless and mushy.
