    Oh, and some orzo soup, but it got too spicy so husband finished it.
    Weird question but what is a dolmathe?

    hubby started his 1 of 5 night shifts today, so i took my 2.5 yrs old monkey shopping then stopped at grandparents' house for dinner: braised fish, veggies and rice. My mom packed a small package of food to go for us. So dinner is set for us for tomorrow.

    @sweetmomma

    Dolmathes are Greek - stuffed grape leaves. Theirs has rice, parsley, onion, a little bit ground beef, Mediterranean spices, tomato, lemon, garlic. Lots of garlic.
    Not many places make them around here, especially ones that aren't too sour.

    Other cultures make something similar, different fillings.

    After a busy day celebrating Canada day, we had dinner at home, grilled ribeye, steamed lobster tails with garlic butter, baked potatoes, fried mushrooms, Caesar salad. Tonight we are keeping it simple...bbq spicy Italian sausage and a homemade potato salad.

    Wanted burger, but no FF coupons. Most restaurants charge way too much for even a simple one, so our go-to for that is a nearby restaurant that has this one burger on its Jr/Sr menu, it's an Angus burger, loaded, handcut fries, and a pop for eight bucks. Burger is actually quite big, I ate about two thirds, and maybe one third of the fries, and I'm stuffed. Everything tasty!

    I love a good burger❤️
    How is your appetite Natalka? My doctor suggested a pre dinner drink about 30 minutes before eating and it’s helping me eat a little more. Gin and tonic is my summer choice.

    Tonight we are grilling back ribs with homemade bbq sauce. I’m making fried rice and Asian broccoli slaw for the sides.

    Tonight’s supper was pizza with fresh fruit (red grapes, cherries, nectarines)
    Tomorrow's supper plan is spagitinni and meat sauce.
