I made a pork roast in the pressure cooker, mashed potatoes and roasted acorn squash with maple glaze. And gravy too.

Last night I made what we will call a Chicken Shepard's Pie. I took some chicken chunks and made a mushroom gravy put that in the bottom of a casserole dish and topped with leftover potatoes we had in the fridge.

Tonight we are going to a Gala/Awards things (information to me some says Gala some says Awards) and they are serving us dinner so we will see tonight what we are having.

We are having guests tonight and they are bringing dessert, yay! We’re making broiled sockeye salmon, pan fried garlic shrimp, pork fried rice, steamed multi coloured carrots. Appies will be proscuitto wrapped roasted asparagus with fresh garlic dip. We’ve got a couple bottles of Okanagan Pinot Gris to enjoy with dinner.

We have a butterball turkey breast in a box that has been there for a while so we thought we would try it just to use it up. We are also tryng a reicpe for Make ahead Turkey gravy that i found on allrecipes site today.

We always deep fry and, or use our Big Easy for turkey so it would be nice to have home made gravy with it for a change
