I would really like to just pull some soup from the freezer and call that dinner, but we need something for lunches tomorrow so we will have to see what I can come up with when I get home.

deep fried tofu with oyster sauce for dipping; it's an appetizer in most oriental restaurants but we like to make a big batch at home as a main dish

Last night I pulled out a package of Homemade Chicken Soup so that was dinner with a Garlic Naan on the side.

A large platter of homemade appetizers. Tonight is date night and DH and I are going to watch one of the movies we bought for Christmas while munching away. I suspect the dogs may "benefit" from the experience, as well.

..we have a major blizzard happening, I'm trying to decide if I want to make a lasagna & honey garlic ribs & rice now to have something "good" on hand if we lose the power..and reheat on the wood stove if needed..or just relax and eat whatever later as there's lots for sandwiches or other things that can be easily heated on the wood stove lol

not positive yet what I'll be eating tonight, but for the gang it'll be store bought frozen beef patties...takes no effort to fry those suckers up ( ugh, have I mentioned before that I despise most frozen patties? ) Atm my wrist is too swollen ( injured ) to make up my usual ground beef patties.
There's a bag each of fresh broccoli florets and green beans, so definitely steaming some of each.
I might thaw a few frozen scallops for myself, saute them up for my protein.
