I needed to pick up my Wal-Mart Grocery order so I treated us to some take-out. Grabbed a 9-piece Feast from Mary Browns.

I am attempting to cook a whole chicken in the air fryer tonight. Will make mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans to go with it.

@Frugalbigmama You will never cook ( roast ) a chicken any other way again! Our air fryer holds a whole chicken up to say 6 lbs maybe? I trim plenty of the excess skin away, including the Pope's nose, but keeping the skin that covers the legs, wings and breast. Keeps the fat from pooling in the reservoir underneath.
I also push down on the breast to flatten if the bird is a plumper one to prevent it from touching the heat coil.
Our basket is the kind with NO centre post taking up space.
We've enjoyed air fried birds that went in absolutely nekkid ( with no spice at all ) but have also licked our fingers over the herbed up ones. Both ways crisp up in the most delicious way.
    Enjoy!!

A question for any nutritionists out there.
Can you live longer on chocolate cake with
white icing or white cake with chocolate icing?
    Please respond within three days.
    Thank-you.

The batch of chili did not last as long as I had hoped, so I thawed 4 skbn chx breasts.
Trimmed off some from each of them to dice up/saute and add to the white sauce, with onions, celery, red pepper, carrots and peas. Puff pastry was the final step. The rectangular casserole dish now holds a chx pot pie.

Sliced the larger breast pieces opened and flat, crumb coated, par baked them first. Filled 2 halves with Mozz, Parm and red pepper strips. Placed other halves over top. Pasta sauce and more grated Parm on top, baked another 10 min. so..... Chx Parmesan I guess?
