Are you asking how to store information on your SD card?

Usually if you put the memory card into the phone, and hook the computer up with the phone with USB, you should be able to transfer that way. Or if your computer has a build in card reader you can just put the card in and transfer files that way.

Does the card go into your phone, or do you need an adapter?

Well if your Palm can read the card, then you can just use your Palm as a way to transfer files from your computer to your card

Check the Palm website for downloads for your particular Palm. I have an older Palm Treo 90 and it required a download and install of SD reader software to the device in order to be able to read the card. Once this is installed, if necessary, you will have an icon on your palm that will let you access and manage the card storage right on the device.
