I tried and keep ending up with herbal life blahh
same here, none that i could find.
the same here as well...hopefully someone out there has better news for us.
Sorry..i've ended up with junk
I know there are real ones out there. I just dont know where to find them. Hubby says there is four or five people where I live that do the stuffing envelopes at home or crafts. I've seen them with huge boxes of envelopes dropping them off at the post office. Too bad it's so hard to find them though!
I've had the stuffing envelopes offer before, but you have to pay before you can stuff..i don't know about you guys, but I don't want to have to pay for a job.
does anyone know of any legitimate work at home companies?
im a stay at home mom and am looking some some extra income but some of these seem like a scam....you have to send them a cheque and the information is very sketchy. im just looking for something reputable, thanks to anyone who answers

Thank You halleycat!!
Places that I have worked only asked me if I was legally allowed to work in Canada before giving me the offer letter. It was only when it was time to get paid that I was asked for the SIN#
For one particular job I was asked for a background check, copies of my professional certification etc and when it was tax time, only then did they ask for the SIN #.
Interesting... for all my job applications (Not work at home jobs mind you) a SIN was always required just to apply!
Hi:
I am new at this responding to threads but I will give it a shot.
I have found success with a website called the Rat Race Rebellion. This site gives you many links to legitimate at home work. I recieved my first job interview yesterday.
Here's the link if anyone is interested..dunno if it's a scam though

Welcome to SC boyzmom & yummymummyincornwall !!!!
Btw everyone, they ask in the one link for your Social Security or tax i.d number. Social security IS NOT Social Insurance. Social security is in the U.S and you WILL NOT get paid if you put your Social Insurance number. Never ever ever ever give out your Social Insurance over the Internet, EVER!!!!
Great advice you must protect yourself on the internet!
I don't think a company should ask for your SIN number until you're actually hired!
For anyone that works in call centers... there are various online call centers that you can get employed with.
My wife has been working full time for ten months now with one based out of Ontario. They are usually hiring and have callers in most provinces.
I see their listing in the Job bank frequently.
