Stamps get pretty expensive especially if you are sending out several envies a week. Asking for stamps in a trade helps you keep down or even eliminate that cost. Sorry I answered without the quote.

Just put up my list of trades - I'm new to this, so hopefully I did it right. In addition to the items on my list, I have Canadian Tire money to trade.

Question: why do so many people want stamps???

I want brandsampler from the newspaper. I have icoke pins to trade or coupons. I have found this coupon trading to be difficult as a newbie. Any suggestions anyone?

I really like the coupon trading tab. I type in the type of coupon I am looking for ex) cherrios and then see who comes up with that coupon. Then I take a look at the rest of their list and see if I can come up with 10 or more $ of coupons. I check their wishlist and see if I have anything that they would want. If not I ask if they will trade for stamps or points(stouffers, GTG, etc). Most people on this site are really reasonable and just want to help eachother out. The odd time you will find that someone wants a whole lot for their coupons and it isn't really worth it. Don't get offended. Just move to the next person. Most people will trade with new sc'rs. However, you may have to send your portion of the trade first. You may also want to try the trading forum. Alot of times the person will state in their post that they will trade with newbies. Sometimes trading takes a whole lot of patience. Hope that helps.
