Home Depot Pricing error = refund.

So today I was in the city with my husband and Zee and we popped into homedepot to buy more gutter guards for our eavestroughs since when we replaced our roof last month we threw out the old ones.

Anyways Chad has wanted a router bit set for a while for his router. He saw a Ryobi one that said 140$ value, and the sticker said 39.97, so he was happy since it was a good deal.

We checked out and the total was 100( for 20$ in gutter guards and the set)! I was like huh and the cashier (who wasn't overly nice) said well id have to hit cancel to tell you how much stuff was. Since it was such a pain for her to do that I paid by debit then looked at my reciept.

WOAH! Hold the phone. His router bit rand in at 69.99 (78 with tax). I asked her why and she said thats the price, so I said would you like me to grab the sticker? So I went and grabbed it and she then said well its not the same upc, so I plainly said theres six more on the hanger stating that price.

She was pretty mad but the manager said I was correct and it was their fault so they sent me to customer service to get a refund, so in the end it was only 39.97! (which we had assumed from the beginning according to the tag)

Anyways I was proud I didn't back down to the cashier even with her 'tude.
Even better was Chad was proud of me! The customer service cashier was great though!
