SCOP Question
This question has probably been asked a million times over...but I can't find the answer.
I was at metro and they had nestea 1.89L signed $1.49, I got home and realized that I was charged $3.19 each for 4 of them (green tea flavour), So I called and was told to bring my receipt in and they would fix it for me. Should I mention SCOP? Thanks in advance!

Yes, and they should give you the 1st one for free and then they have the right to make the price adjustment on the rest. At least that's the way it works in Quebec where it is the law.
By the way just tell them outright that you should get the first one for free. Don't leave them any room to argue. From my experience they hate being SCOPed and frequently cop an attitude. Just give it right back at them.

yes, you get the first one free and the rest at the price on the sign, 1.49

I usually find Metro pretty good about SCOP, but maybe that is just my location.....

Thank you all!! I'm going back later and will hopefully be posting about my first SCOP!!

I had a scop at Metro a couple of months ago. The two teens working had no clue what scop meant. Why can't these employees be informed. Anyway as I was walking out I pointed to the sign on the wall and said, "Here it is right here in writing,so you do participate in it!" To make a long story short I ended up with 4 packages of weiners......free.
