Lovely, Andi! My latest was a "Chakra" bracelet I made for a friend who always seems to have one medical problem after another; I used all Swarovsky (sp) crystals separated by little rhinestone rings and tiny black onyx beads...I'll take a pic if the next one I make, lol....
Oh, Hon...I have TONS of beads I can't use anymore because of my eyesight and hands that don't work like they used to!!! How on earth can I get them to you?! They'd weigh so much to post.....
And I decided to take another watercolour course...or drawing...I can't decide and I have only a couple of days to make up my mind....Last edited by Lynn49; Wed, Jan 28th, 2015 at 10:31 AM.

Aw that's so sweet, Sunshine! What beads? Have you decided? Perhaps a drop pearl or crystal hanging from each loop? I hope you post a pic when you finish it! What a cute idea!!

MrsSunshine-you add the beads to the thread before you start crocheting, and move them along it until you are ready to work one into your stitches. There are lots of tutorials out there to get you started!

Yes, take pics, inquiring minds wanna see. And admire.
And is there any reason you can't take both the watercolour and the drawing course? Unless they're on at the same time, in which case it could be problematic to run from one classroom to another.
As for the offer of beads, you are too sweet! You know, you could always come down and visit Lily dog (since she's the one you'd like to meet up with, Quincy cat & I are just her entourage ).

A while back I made some "poofs" for my cousin's bridal shower. Simple to make with tissue paper and they turn out quite large so they make a nice impact

When we were on the cruise, there was an art auction on the ship & we both fell in love with an abstract painting of a woman in a yellow dress looking out at the Mediterranean. bff & I actually contemplated buying a piece of art together (neither of us had ever considered it), but it was way beyond our price range. Still, both of us were haunted by the painting. So, I came up with a plan to paint a little picture for bff's bday. I have been struggling with the darn thing for 3 months now & made tons of mistakes (I finally managed to sketch a semi decent pic, only to discover that the graphite shows through the paint ). Knowing bff, I'll get praised for my efforts (if not my skills ). So, without further ado, here she is:

Just beautiful, Andi!!!
You know what I should have done, Andi, was to send a load of beads to TO with my hubby when he flew down to Women's College Hospital for his check-up; perhaps you could have meet him there..grrr.
Yes, I'll post a pic of that Chakra bracelet as well as the soap I made last week (although I did post it in the Frugal thread for some reason....)
I DO wish this was a permanent thread thing...I can never find it when I want it!!
Soap: it has poppyseeds in the middle clearer layer for a bit of scrubbiness...
