here is a site describing that method. this makes sense to me. if i was going to try for a third i might try this just to see. some friends of mine are going to start trying in the next year, i already told them about this method and am eager to see the results. either way you have a 50/50 chance of getting the sex you want i guess.

I've heard alot about this needle and thread theory and I've tryed it myself on my last pregnancy. It works like this: Get a needle, put some thread in it, then hold it by the thread very still,so it doesn't move, somewhere above your skin. The needle will start moving on it's own. If it goes in a circle your're haveing a girl, if it goes strait back and forth it's a boy. Everybody that I know who's done this, it's been right each time as well as my last time.
You can do it even before you ever get pregnant too and it'll show you what your baby will be when you do get pregnant. Also, if you just let it keep on swinging, it'll stop on it's own and if you're going to have another baby(providing you don't use birth control or do anything to stop from having more kids) in the future, it'll start swinging again.
Sounds like a myth,I know. But as far as I know,it's been right each time!
I did it this time again,so we'll wait and see if it'll be right again!Artificial Colors & Flavours in almost all our food... You should be concerned.Everyone should watch this...

To us all that mattered was the babe was healthy. But I can tell you I got two boys and I don't think we would of gotten a girl if we had done it upside down and sideways. Why?
because my MIL wanted a girl so bad she jinxed us lol!

Both my kids were planned. When I started to get prepared for pregnancy I stumbled on this method. Well I'm here to tell you I was 2 for 2!!! I first wanted a boy, did it and got one, then wanted my little girl and 9 months later she's what I got.

on the site, that explains the shettles method it says studies have shown that there is a 80-95 % success rate.. (somewhere around there) I dont know if its a gig to make money from ovulation tests (or what are they called again??) or if its true, either way i have another 2-3 years to hear what poeple have to say abou tthis metod, i dont we'll be planning our 4 th one anytime soon.
who ever tries this method, let us know!
