I am wondering if anyone knows about stores that offer discounts for certain groups of people? I know teachers and seniors can get Indigo discount cards at a reduced price. I just found out that teachers can also get discounts on Apple products. And there are few Toronto stores (Grassroots, for example, which sells natural products) which offer discounts for people with monthly transit passes. Any other good ones to know about?

In BC, if you are a university student say so when you buy school supplies, and tax is dropped for somethings (paper in the packs, but not in the boxes, regular sized binders, etc).

Apple of course offers discounts for students too
Hmm.. we get discounts on hotels, because we are military... but not much.
And, there are a lot of places in the HRM area (NS) that give DND discounts.

I usually ask my group about special discounts. For example CAA members get special discounts and services - you just need to ask them what they offer.
