So I'm like a lot of SCers on here and I have a fair size stockpile mainly of tp, diapers, baby food, bodywash, etc.....I thought it was great stocking up until now I have found the downside of it!!! Having to PACK IT!!!! We are moving in October and I thought I'd start packing up some of the storage room (yup we actually have a storage room at this place, lucky me ) Well geez it seems like the stock pile goes on forever and ever. So what did I do today??? Went to WM and bought 13 more bottles of Dove bodywash, 4 more of Hubby's deo and 4 more of his bodywash, lol......ah I think I need help (just kidding, I think).

Has anyone else had to pack up their stockpile and if so do you have any advise to make it easier?????

Good idea but I think a lot of items would "disappear" because he's already wondering why he needs 8 bottles of bodywash and I need about 20. But he's slowly coming around to having a stockpile.

We moved with our "stockpile" I didn't think it was that big but it took a few diaper boxes (not including the actual diapers) to pack up everything. Organization is key.....sorry that's the only advice I can give, moving sucks, good luck!

I love re-using diaper boxes they are the perfect size for certain things!!! It's strange how when you are living a your current place it doesn't seem like you have a lot of stuff but then when you start to pack I swear it all doubles, lol.....It's amazing how much a 9 month old has

On an unrelated note, diaper boxes are perfect for sorting baby clothes. If you have a size 2 diaper box, put clothes that are size 2 in there.

Lucky for me, I don't have a giant stockpile, and now that I'm in a house, I ain't moving! heehee

I moved earlier this Spring. The first thing I tackled was my stockpile, which wasn't even as big as some pics seen on here. I was drastic, cutting down to the minimum I could live with, and donated all the rest to the local women's shelter. (I haven't gotten my stockpile back up yet, but I am happy with not having the clutter in my house.)

The house I'm living in now is the 47th home I've lived in - in my whole life - and I didn't have an official "stockpile" until the last 6 months. But (as I may have said before according to my friends) I AM NEVER MOVING AGAIN!

WOW ... 47th, I would say organization is key, and WOW ...

P.S. ... starting to hunt for ShoppingChannel GC's with no minimum purchase ...
