I saw a BBQ on sale at Home Depot this Sunday only, $249 ($200 off). We need a new BBQ, so I think we're going to go and get one bright and early.

BBQs no longer have lava rocks that last forever, they have 'deflector pans' that rust out. NOT impressed! Plus our BBQ kind of blew down our stairs during a windstorm, the handle broke off and the grill got bent. So we need a new one.

Anyone knowledgeable about BBQs? Is this a good deal?

Venus Vibrance $3.74 on clearance. Had a bunch of them there. No coupon so I didn't get them.

Superstore on Joseph Howe Drive had small cans of Campbells Chunky Soup for .50 a can (only beef I think it was). If you have some coupons, might be a great deal. They were in a display along the main aisle that I think has pop along the left?

I bought a couple even without coupons, good to have a small can of that at work for those times my lunch is not enough.

The bigger cans of the Cheese Tortellini (sp?) flavour were 2/$3 if that floats your boat.

If you like those WM "Good For You" value bags, they are are unadvertised for $3 in Sackville - located under a $5.97 sign, but ignore that because it is ringing in at $3. I bought one, saw what it rang in at, then turned around and bought some more. This is the bag with the cereal, Quaker bites, Nestea packets, etc..

I won't be going near a store in HRM today. Thanks to Hurricane Bill's expected arrival overnight tonight, veryone is in freaked out hurricane stock-up mode! Heaven help you if you ran out of propane today here, there's huge lines.

Penhorn Sobeys in Dartmouth, NS has Sunlight Laundry Detergent in a cart near the Yogurt for $3.99 so if you are lucky like me and have the $2 coupon you can get it for $1.99. Not bad. I picked up 3 but there are still a bunch there.

Most of you probably know that Atlantic Superstore has most of their summer merchandise marked down. I got a bunch of big rubber balls the other day at Joseph Howe for .10 each! Planning ahead for DS's birthday. My DH thinks I'm a bit nuts.

In other news, does anyone know of any Hfx stores that have those gazebo-style canopies marked down? I'm talking about an outdoor thing that you'd put on your deck, it has four corners and a canopy over the top. Some have drapes along the side. I'm not looking for anything fancy, but something heavy enough to not blow away!

There is some 50% off carts at the Barrington Street superstore with Herbal Essense Conditioner, Frutis stuff would be around .24 after coupons one conditioner and some moose or hairspray I think, Neutrogena 14 day Skin resue regular $24.99 50% off price would be $14.99 so after $10 coupon it would be $4.99 never tried it so not sure if it is any good. Thought I would let my fellow SC'ers know. Hope you all have a good long weekend. Happy Thanksgiving!!
