    So my best friend and I decided late sunday night to head to Grand Forks, ND to do a little shopping. She was looking for some vanilla coke and I needed some Feline Pine.

    I was happy to stock up on some vegan "fast food" that I only get once a year and that I can only find in the USA.

    I was feel a little out of my relm because I had no coupons to use in the USA but it was an amazing trip. Really quick through customs both ways at the border.

    Here is what I got:

    All in all I spent around 80.00 CAN after the conversion. So this brag is not really about getting free stuff I just wanted to brag because I was so happy to find the vegan food and feline pine in stock plus I managed to use one coupon that I found

    Plus....when we came back through the Canadian Border we had to declare what we bougth so they gave us our little yelllow slip to go inside to pay dute and taxes (because you do not have a free limit if you only go for 8 hours) so I brought it inside and she said what is Boca? I said veggie burgers so she said handed me back my receipts and said you are all good...have a good day So I saved over 10.00 in not having to pay. It made my day!

    Shopping the the States is fun! Good job!

    I went once last year and managed to get complete outfits for my DD (3 of them) for 3.79 EACH! Jeans for DS for $1.99 each! I was stoked! I want to go back!

    Great finds. It is amazing how many products that they have in the states that we don't have. Nice to be able to make a quick trip over. I try to get down a few times a year. Love US shopping.

    If you are interested in shopping in the States - go to a couponers site called DealSeekingMom.com - They have lots of printable coupons and tell you how and where to find deals. If you're going on a Sunday - stop and pick up a local paper because they have OOOODLES of coupons in inserts in them. Kroger and Meier are two grocery stores that sometimes double coupons. CVS and Walgreens are two pharmacies that have all kinds of deals.

    I have plenty of US coupons to trade if anyone is interested. - I have more US than Canada at the moment because I've been laid up and unable to shop so I gave away a lot of coupons - both US and Canadian. But I'm almost back on my feet. Look out, CVS!

    Great shopping, by the way! They certainly have more "specialty" type products there. Your kittie looks very happy with your trip!

    We go over to usa a few times a year. I love using their coupons cause they have double and even triple coupon days, and even had double upto $2cpns few weeks ago(so that made it a $4 cpn).
    We get so much free stuff using their coupons.
