What they mean is that you not only get the SPC card which saves you money, but you also get a $10 gift card for one of 5 stores that you can choose from. So you pay $10.50 (including shipping, it's only $8.50 in stores) for the card but get a $10 GC in return. Thus the card only costs .50

Dont forget that they are doubling the GC's you choose until July.29th so you actually make $9.50 when you buy the SPC card

Just like what Tara F said, when you choose a $10 giftcard, they will send you an extra one as a bonus.

For example, if I buy an Spc card and choose a $10 Best Buy gift card as a gift, they will send me:

1 SPC card
2 $10 BestBuy Gift Cards

You get double the gift card, but there are minimum purchases required to get that said "gift card". For example, the bluenotes one, you have to spend $50 to get the $10 shopping card, and you get two of those.

you can apply for one online. They dont check your age that way, Im not sure about in stores though. I have been told they dont usually come out until sept when school starts when you buy them in store, but online they will send it to you in the mail

It means that I can get a spc card for my son and use it in stores when my son is with me. but my questions is " can stores object that my son is too small to have a spc card?" Did someone use it for their children when they were in kindergarten? thanks for any help.

I think you might have some trouble having your 5 year old son "buy" things for you. Why not get the VIP SPC so that you don't need to be a student yourself to use it?

If you have plans to buy stuff at Pizza Hut, Bestbuy or another store with the double shopping card promo.... and have a student ID to use it, the SPC card costs you about nothing.

Does anyone know if you can use more then one of the $10 cards at a time... We are looing at making a large purchase at Best Buy so I wonder if I could use both of the cards on the same purchase...

I wouldn't call it a "gift card," more like a plastic coupon...

P.S., does anyone know if you can use the Pizza Hut card on delivery orders? I'm confused on how that would work...
