Happy Wednesday, everyone! I'm back from a short vacation with my Grandma where I also got to see all my great-aunts and great-uncles as well as my uncle and aunt.

Happy Anniversary to Mr. and Mrs. Attitash! I hope it's a great day, although going skiing to celebrate would probably require a bit of a lengthy trip - unless you want to do some waterskiing ;)

Yesterday I honoured our daughters, so today is for our sons,
Rambunctious & mischievous, but we love them one thousand tons,
They scare us with their feats, they like climbing jagged trees,
& how many bumps & bruises & scrapes on those knees?
Rough & loud, cause they are boys & they’re proud,
& sometimes they do things though they are not allowed,
To busy playing to take a simple bathroom break,
& sometimes so darn tired, that they can’t stay awake,
They ride their bikes, play hockey & then go to the park,
In those little guy eyes, you’ll see amazement & spark,
They have dreams so real that make you want to believe,
& you have to encourage them that they can achieve,
You teach them to be polite as good manners will take them so far,
& the next thing you know is they are driving your car,
They fall in love for the first time & it’s deep & intense,
& it seems they don’t listen to the advice you dispense,
They still are our little guys no matter how tall they get,
& even grown up sons can still cause us to fret,
The times they were maniacs & made your anger boil,
Still made them worthy of an occasional spoil,
Unconditional love has no strings attached,
& the love your son gives you can never be matched.
