    We did what we always do on Christmas day, rain or shine. We go for a long quiet walk in our neighbourhood, which is downtown Vancouver. It's the quietest day of the year and we always like to get out and appreciate it. It was also a sunny day which is another thing to be glad for here.

    This was a pic that I took down on the seawall at Coal Harbour at dusk. You can see the Olympic rings on a barge out in the water and a huge flock of blackbirds coming inland to roost for the night. Year round you can see thousands of them sometimes all flying in the same direction. Sometimes it's like Alfred Hitchcock's movie "The Birds".

    That'll be like all the shoppers today, Boxing Day. I'm not sure if I'll go to that horror movie or not.... hmmm. Have a great Boxing/Rep Day!
