A round of reps for the last friday in the month of June,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
& I’ve heard that our group now considered a platoon,<o:p></o:p>
Rep for the summit & our boarded up city,<o:p></o:p>
Cause the way it looks now, sure ain’t postcard pretty,<o:p></o:p>
Rep for the fake lake that won’t see jet skis,<o:p></o:p>
& rep for the businesses left flapping in the G-8 breeze,<o:p></o:p>
Rep for the CN Tower which now stands closed,<o:p></o:p>
For the empty Royal Alex & for the AGO,<o:p></o:p>
Rep for the mailboxes that were also removed,<o:p></o:p>
For the bus shelters & garbage cans cause they are gone too,<o:p></o:p>
Newspaper boxes have also been 86’ed as well,<o:p></o:p>
& don’t even ask “where’s the nearest hotel”<o:p></o:p>
Rep for the poor cops who are assigned to this detail,<o:p></o:p>
& rep for the weekend, for we will prevail,<o:p></o:p>
Rep for the protesters, who have an original thought of their own,<o:p></o:p>
& if they have principled beliefs & are not merely a drone,<o:p></o:p>
Rep for all the businesses that will be taking a hit,<o:p></o:p>
Cause the big boys in charge don’t really give a sh**,<o:p></o:p>
