I have a few french save.ca coupons and I'm wondering if anyone has ever used them in Ontario, in the GTA. I'm scared the cashier will refuse, even though it's easy to tell how much $, there's a picture of the product and the expiry date is understandable.

I have used French save.ca coupons at the same time as using the same English coupon without a problem, so they can't pull the "Sorry I can't accept it, I don't understand what it says" crap
I buy two of the same thing, and use one coupon for each

I'm always skeptical if they'll take it or not, they usually do when there's an english coupon with it. Maybe we should all invest in a small French-English dictionary

I use french coupons all the time in BC, no problem. Stores should honour them as French is an official language of Canada, especially if it's a national store chain. Usually if I have the same coupon in English, I will bring it along so they can read what it says, but honestly I've never been refused to use a French coupon and maybe only twice we looked at the English version for translation.

With French coupons, cashiers make up their own crap. I tried using a French coupon with an English one at FoodBasics and the cashier told me that I can use only one coupon. I asked her to take Frech one but she said they don't take French coupons. So I just used English one. Few days later, I went to a different cashier and she processed the French coupon even though she did ask another cashier some questions (which I can't remember now) but she did let me use it in the same store. The first cashier was there just next to the register.

I only use them with English coupons at the same time.
