LD no longer carrying Scotts Paper Towel?

I just noticed that LD no longer has Scott's Paper Towel on their website. Maybe we broke the bank with the coupons. It would really suck if they are no longer selling them there as I have so many coupons to stack.

Our LD has been out of Scott's Towels for a while now. Anyone else notice this or did I just not search the site correctly?

hmm it's possible...my LD has only ever carried the single rolls of Scott! That would suck cuz I have lots of stackable coupons for these...

I've only ever seen the single rolls as well at my store. They were out for awhile but then restocked just in time for me to get some great deals

No, I think you're right... because all of the LD's here in Vancouver seem to not have them anymore either since about two weeks ago. They don't even have a space on the shelf for them anymore. I don't know whether it is because of all the coupons used on them, or whether it's just coincidence they decided to stop carrying them.

I could be mistaken, but I could swear they started stocking the single roll of Bounty after the single roll of Scott disappeared...

Seems like they may be pulling an SDM special!! They'll wait until the coupons expire and lo and behold, they'll magically re-appear! I'll keep my eye out for this....wanna test my theory; otherwise, LD, I apologize for spreading rumours

no, one of the staff i was talking to said they were trying to push more environmentally friendly brands and also sell their own brand, so they won't be getting scott.

but scott just came out with an enviro green product that hasn't even hit LD yet so that doesn't really make sense! I've even got coupons for it (but no product!)

sorry, should say HAD the coupons...they expired without me finding the product at LD

I asked one of the Managers in Wpg. if they would be getting them in about 2 weeks ago (I already had several sets of coupon expire on me before I could use them). She said they would be coming in and gave me a raincheck. But, like InvisibleSoul said, they no longer have space for them and the sign is down. I'll check with them again tomorrow.

When I asked in Winnipeg, I was told that there are some items that they don't have in stock all of the time. The staff member said that they had the Scott in for a promotion of some kind (maybe from their last coupon book? Can't remember..., but they don't carry it as one of their regular products.
